We popped in around 6pm on a Friday. There was not one eating just 5 or 6 people drinking.We should have realised this Pub had gone downhill !! One meal was pie of the day and was hot and average. The other was chicken Kiev with jacket potato and veg. The potato was dry. The carrots and peas looked and tasted horrible. We should have complained but were in a hurry to get home. Why o why can't Pubs provide a selection of properly cooked vegetables. Not a lot to ask for. We won't be returning and would NOT recommend . Comparable food better at Wetherspoons and cheaper too ! Sorry.
Went for a family meal,great honest home cooked food ,tasty, well presented and none left over ,the desert, well will definitely call again and recommend
real improvement, nice food, good sports bar with live sport's and an actual good pool table, great staff and good atmosphere. hats off to the new management for turning the pub around.
Popped there for lunch today very average food. Had to send back starter which we did get a refund for. The staff were very good very apologetic for the starter and very attentive.
Very very sadly changed hands from a very good management a few months ago who had made it a very pleasant eating pub. Last week not knowing that I took a couple of friends there and had the WORST meal I have ever had. The notice outside now reads "Putting the Pub back into the Ploughboy" I assume that means one armed bandits, pool and noise.!
