The best place to walk, with or without a dog, for some of the best views in the area. Gorgeous!
It is a beautiful place on the site of an old farm. The fields run down to the river Lyner. It has some over zealous wardens, it is a nature reserve, so if walking dogs here be sure to read the many, many signs at the entrances telling you what you cant do. That is if the signs arent so overgrown that you cant read them. Ive never actually seen much wildlife here, a fox once and a stoat but thats it over a period of years.
Lucky to have such a wonderful managed nature reserve on our doorstep. Dog owners please bring bags and use the many bins at all the accesses. Been visiting this site for 18 years and the ground management is great with increasing diversity of wildlife and plants
