Some meals were good value .but waited at least 45 mins to hour for food .music good
Stopped here for dinner,today at 2 O 'clock. Delighted to say that they where still doing food and what amazing food it turned out to be. Wish I'd taken a photo. I had game stew, it was absolutely delicious. Best game stew I've ever eaten out. My wife had the chilli con carne which also was excellent. Very friendly staff and a proper old fashioned Cornish pub. With a real roaring fire. Highly recommended. Still have the Christmas decorations up, which was odd but I found very amusing. Grateful food great atmosphere.
Such a good pub . Off the main road in a time warp . Great log fire .good wine and amazing scallops . Treats upon treats
Amazing food, Ive had scallops, my husband ate haddock and chips, we were both very happy with our food, beers were tasty too. Also, very friendly staff and they have live music too! highly recommend it ;)
Lovely food! specials on board above fire place. tables outside. The outside slightly scruffy but don't let this put you off. locals seemed friendly as did the staff. Me and wife really enjoyed our time here.
