Staff have been very friendly and very professional. I am very happy with my glasses,I have had to go for adjustments a few times but that's because of me not quality of glasses and lens again staff very good and accommodating.Thankyou

Earlier today I went for my normal bi annual check up and was asked if I had any concerns, to which I replied that I was having problems reading using my varifocal glasses. If the truth be known the glasses had never been very good for reading since day 1. I said that I had reverted to using my previous set of varifocals as they worked better. The eye examination revealed that my eye sight had changed little since my last examination. This led to a discussion as to why my glasses didn't work as reading glasses.and should I consider getting a single lense pair for just reading. The assistant put my glasses on a machine which measures the various parts of the glass and low and behold the area used for reading was smaller than the tip of my little finger. Therefore, she said it was not surprising that I couldn't read with the glasses. I spent hundreds of pounds on a pair in 2016 and another pair in March of this year with no prospect of them being good for reading. The assistant's solution was for me to buy another pair of glasses off them. I think not
Hmmm ..... Not sure really. I have prescription sunglasses that are to big, and not very helpful when it came to purchasing glasses .... Nothing like the TV ad would make you believe. I'm going to find myself an optician who will spend time helping me choose glasses.
